I thought that I would give you an overview of study tips for the upcoming exams.
1. Have regular, short breaks.
Your brain cannot concentrate for hours, so take a break every 50-90 minutes to increase productivity. I personally prefer to go for a walk or dance with my window open, so I get fresh air and get some energy out.
2. Start studying early and plan study time in advance
It is never too early on the year to start studying. Revising is the most important step of processing information, so the more you revise, the better you'll remember it on the exam! Also making a good and realistic planning is a good idea to get a clear overview of what you've already done and what you still have to do.
3. Get enough sleep
The brain processes information during the night, so it is important to get a good night sleep. Especially the night before the exam. What helps for me is a clear routine during the exams: waking up at 7.45 AM and going to bed at 10.30 PM.
4. Eat healthy food
Eating healthy food will fuel your brain. Greasy and unhealthy food will decrease productivity and will make you feel tired.
5. Avoid any distraction
When you are studying, try to avoid any distraction. Turn off your phone and only check your socials during a break. I personally find this one of the hardest things to do, since I like to help my friends as well when they are studying and don't understand something. But I try my best and my laptop and phone are often on my bed.
Those are the 5 study tips that I find most helpful. I hope they are also helpful for you and I wish you all the best for the exams!
